Autobahn Media was founded in 2010 but it's roots date back to 1994 with it's original automotive website called Porsche Net. The site was one of the first auto enthusiat websites on the internet and as such it quickly became the Premier site for Porsche Enthusiasts around the world.

1999 - The Autobahn
In 1999 the site expanded to cover the five major German automobile manufacturers and the name was changed to The Autobahn.

2003 - Flat 6
In 2003, Flat-6 became part of The Autobahn as we extended the sites depth of Porsche information as well as added many new features.

2007 - The Autobahn
In 2007 we added Maybach, Opel, and Smart to The Autobahn.

In 2008 we added The Autostrada and The Autoroute sites.
